  1. Flipgrid can be used to plan a lesson for a day that you know that you are not going to be in the classroom, like for when you have a substitute watching your class while you are out. A project I can see Flipgrid being used for would be an online Socratic seminar where students would take turns posting video of responses toward a specific Flipgrid prompt from the teacher.

  2. 1. You can use flip grip to have students video responses to prompts in a lesson. You can also incorporate it into a literature lesson where students can act out a part of a book they are reading. You can get very creative with ideas. It can either consume an entire lesson or just be a small segment. Can also be apart of homework.
    2. I could see FlipGrid being used as a reflection or response tool for projects outside of class. It could be a final step where students can post a final reflection of how they did. it can also be used for teachers to determine if students are keeping up with a project like what we are doing for this week.

  3. In the classroom there are many ways that you can use Flipgrid in the classroom. No matter the age group it can be used for both independent and group activities. Students can use it to present memory work such as poems, students can present their writings, or use it to explain concepts in all subjects. Outside of the classroom you can use it as a teacher to present announcements and other school activities for both parents and students to see. Students can also use it for book clubs so students can communicate outside of school.

    1. i really like how it can be used at home or in class and also as an independent activity or a group activity. And that's a great point! Having them use it to recite things. I think it can also help them practice their talking skills.

  4. You can use flipgrid in your classroom as a formative assessment to allow students to voice what they have learned during the lesson. This can also be used to demonstrate techniques learned in class. I would like for my students to use this outside of the classroom to tell more about themselves and their home life if applicable.

    1. You can also use Flipgrid for a portion of summative assessments. I think using Flipgrid this way will keep students engaged while still completing the necessary tasks. Outside the classroom the teacher could even use Flipgrid when posting on their classroom's page.

  5. 1. What are some examples of ways that you can use Flipgrid in your classroom? There are many different ways you could use Flipgrid. A few examples include using Flipgrid as an exit slip, as a formative assessment, group discussion boards, classroom discussion boards, classroom newsletters, and even summative assessments. One thing I like about Flipgrid is the fact that you can incorporate different multimedias inside of it.
    2. What kinds of projects do you see a tool like this being used for outside of the classroom?
Outside the classroom Flipgrid can be used for school announcements, book clubs, making introductions, interviews, and virtual cards. Flipgrid is very convenient and I love the fact that it is accessible to everyone. It allows everyone to communicate in a modern way while still presenting all the information needed.

  6. LaToya, I love your ideas that you came up with for using flipgrid and i also like how we can use different types of multimedias. I would agree that flip grid allows for everyone to communicate in a modern way while still presenting all of the useful information that we need. Flip grid probably would be in high demand right now being that the schools are closing right now. Great ideas.

  8. What are some examples of ways that you can use Flipgrid in your classroom?
There are so many ways that you can use flip grid in your classroom, one of those ways would to have students responding to a project or some type of assignment given to them. Another way could be having students answer their homework on flip grid instead of doing it on paper.
What kinds of projects do you see a tool like this being used for outside of the classroom?
I would have the students complete a mini project at home like writing a story and they would have to record their self reading it, so all of their peers could see and respond to one another.
